Multiparques exists in the Angolan market since 2004 and it emerged as a response to the congestion at the first-line terminal of Luanda. Thus, it started its activity by transferring and storing vehicles from the Port of Luanda to FILDA. Later on, in order to adapt to the country’s strategy, it then started transferring and storing containers. Having, however, a vast market experience, Multiparques is no longer that small second-line terminal which opened up more than 10 years ago. It is now a nationwide company and it has become the single logistics platform, an example of a structured country pursuing excellence.
Multiparques’ Mission is, firstly, to express excellence, by keeping the required flexibility whilst being in line with the changes that may come about in the country.
A company’s vision is translated into its aspirations, at the goal to be achieved. Therefore, we can say that Multiparques’ vision is to become the biggest and the best logistics partner nationwide.
With the values, we will try to specify how our mission will be developed in order to achieve the proposed vision, and they are as follows:
To meet the underlying challenges to the journey travelled so far, Multiparques has been, for ten years, carrying out concrete improvement activities involving streamlining the country to enable the increase of growth of the Central and Southern regions of Angola through a national network for the flow of goods. We initially focused on Luanda province, Angola’s capital, but we want and will, together with our customers, optimize the supply strategy at a global level. With the eyes placed on the provinces, the Dry Port of Santa Clara has already been streamlined and Lobito is our next step forward.
